The worldwide leading provider of both cloud and on-premises enterprise software solutions is looking for a Linux Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team in their Richardson, TX location. They have three principal areas they focus their business on - perfecting customer experience, powering public safety, and financial crime prevention.
In this role, the new Linux Engineer will focus on contributing to the workforce management aspects of their product suite. The team is looking for someone who has strong infrastructure operations experience and can dabble in some of the devops components. This person will be helping configure their LDAP, servers, and build upon their CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins and Ansible.
Due to our client being a large entity, they are looking for someone who has enterprise level experience. Ideally, needing someone who is skilled with various flavors of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.). The position will also be working within the AWS suite, so any experience with EKS, Docker, Terraform is a large plus. You will be working alongside a few different teams, so strong communication is important.
This is a full-time role, salary will be between $120-140K for a salary. The company is hybrid, so will be onsite 3-days (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2-days remote. Additionally, this role will offer a bonus and benefits along with additional perks.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5+ years of IT Infrastructure experience
- Strong understanding of Linux - CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu, etc.
- Ability to install/configure LDAP and Linux servers
- Prior experience with building/scaling CI/CD pipelines - Ansible, Jenkins
- Any knowledge on EKS, Docker, Terraform will be useful
- Strong scripting experience with Python, PERL, or Groovy
- Bachelors or Masters in an IT related field is a plus.
- Any AWS experience would be a plus.
- Strong communication and written skills, as this will be a highly collaborative team.
