Job Summary:

Channell Commercial Corporation is looking for a Vertex Consultant to provide expert support in integrating and configuring the Vertex tax engine with Oracle EBS or other ERP systems. The consultant will ensure tax compliance, configuration accuracy, and seamless process flow across the system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and support Vertex O Series integrated with Oracle EBS or other ERP systems
• Review and optimize existing tax rules, jurisdictions, and mapping in the Vertex system
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and tax teams to ensure accurate tax calculation, reporting, and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tax determination and system integration
• Perform regular system updates, patching, and performance tuning
• Document configuration, test plans, and operational procedures

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Vertex O Series implementation and support
• Strong understanding of sales tax processes and tax jurisdictions across US states
• Experience integrating Vertex with Oracle EBS (preferred) or other ERPs (e.g., SAP, Dynamics)
• Solid troubleshooting skills related to tax calculations and integration errors
• Ability to work with business teams on tax-related requirements and enhancements

Preferred:

• Vertex certification or relevant training
• Familiarity with tax requirements for manufacturing/distribution environments
