Maintenance Material Coordinator - Beaumont, TX (12+ Months, Onsite)
iSphere is searching for a highly organized Maintenance Material Coordinator to join our client s operations in Beaumont, TX. This long-term role will be critical in ensuring material availability for maintenance work while bridging the gap between business units and procurement. You ll collaborate daily with inventory teams, vendors, warehouse staff, buyers, and maintenance personnel to keep things moving smoothly.
This is a full-time onsite position (5/8 schedule with OT as needed). Local candidates only - no per diem offered.
Scope of Responsibility
As the key interface between operations, maintenance, and supply chain, you will:

Coordinate procurement of materials through SAP, including purchase-to-pay processes, standing orders, and urgent requests.

Support Front Line Supervisors (FLS) with material requests for work lists.

Ensure materials are tagged, staged, and delivered to defined drop points.

Oversee repair and return processes, including vendor coordination and core returns.

Optimize open-bin inventory and assist with warehouse storage improvements.

Provide daily/weekly material status updates and reporting.

Partner with Planning & Scheduling, Engineering, and Operations to support maintenance readiness.

Track and expedite materials as needed to support scheduled, urgent, and emergency work.

Drive continuous improvement in materials procurement and warehousing processes.
Qualifications
Required:
-
10+ years of experience in a large production facility (Oil, Gas, Chemical, or related industry).

Strong SAP experience in Planning, Scheduling, and Materials Management (PrometheP6 knowledge a plus).

Broad knowledge of maintenance crafts (welding, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical).

Solid experience in maintenance execution management (lead/supervisory role preferred).

Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work across all levels.

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Preferred:
-
Validated craft training designation (3-5 years).
-
PHMSA-regulated pipeline facility experience.

Gas compression and metering equipment familiarity.
Additional Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.

Valid state-issued driver s license.
