Job Summary:
We require an experienced individual with a strong HR Compensation background with 10 or more years of direct experience that can guide and coach managers through career family assessments, review/edit/create job descriptions, coach managers in writing better job descriptions aligned to Amtrak's standards, and benchmark roles against the internal market. This requires identification and participation in compensation benchmark surveys for IT roles, and provides an analysis and recommendations to senior leadership based on findings. This individual would also maintain portions of Amtrak's survey platform, dashboard, and analytics as they work with business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years in HR Compensation.
Strong analytical skills and experience with compensation systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, PayFactors).
Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.
Experience in survey participation, data modeling, and compensation strategy development.
Preferred certifications: CCP, PHR, or Master's in HR, Finance, or Business Administration.
