Our product organization is actively seeking a UX Researcher to define, expand and scale how we do research. In this role, you will lead mixed methods research to guide product and design decisions throughout their development cycle. You'll help generate rich insights to uncover and understand product opportunities. From there, you'll leverage various research methodologies to evaluate and de-risk product and design assumptions. For live products, you'll help understand what is and isn't working in order to drive ongoing improvements. In addition, you will develop and employ practices to internally democratize research and enable all team members to create and strive for informed products and experiences.

The Role:

  • Prioritize and drive a research program that delivers the best user experience for a group of product teams
  • Leverage various methodologies to de-risk product and design assumptions with research and data
  • Conduct follow-up interviews to help understand customer feedback in specific product areas
  • Conduct ongoing research and engage in brainstorming sessions to inform solutions and designs
  • Iteratively test concepts and prototypes to shape the design
  • Run satisfaction surveys, follow-up usability studies and interviews to understand why we are or are not seeing the intended behavior of new features after launch
  • For all research studies, own the following processes:
    • Identify the best qualitative or quantitative method(s) based on research questions, timeline and resourcing
    • Determine the right target audience and recruit/schedule participants accordingly
    • Write up study plans and identify the research goals along with what methodology to use
    • Communicate research learnings to our teams and help drive product or design decisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science, Psychology, HCI, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of product research experience for online SaaS applications, especially multi-product platforms
  • Proficiency and comfort with facilitating customer interviews
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Passionate about using data to inform product decisions and ability to quickly understand how products work and what their value prop is
  • Adaptable and self-sufficient, with strong organization and project management skills
  • Collaborative with cross-functional teams to iterate quickly and partner with design in an agile development process
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization from junior PMs to C-Suite executives
  • Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time and present with confidence


Salary Range: $130,000 - $172,500 USD. This position is eligible for the following benefits:
