Position Summary

As a Division Digital & IT Lead, you are responsible for managing major projects and resources in a team environment and for providing technical support for computer-based systems, staff and end-users. This role requires an experienced leader who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization; including the ability to lead others, drive results, and proactively identify and resolve problems. This role works closely with the end user community, leading the Infrastructure & Security and the Business Systems teams on continuous improvement in support of both the Business and the IT strategic vision roadmaps. This role will have direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all IT systems and services for infrastructure & security and all business systems for the site.
  • Responsible for the digital and automation roadmap & strategy for Akron and other North American sites
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Directs the planning and scheduling of development and implementation of IT capabilities
  • Supports resolution of critical situation technical problems.
  • Strong ability to analyze processes, organize and lead project teams through the analysis, while collaborating with other teams.
  • Direct and guide the development and assist in the management of Information Technology systems or services.
  • Provides information to be used to promote the understanding and benefit of technology systems.
  • Stays abreast of new Digital and IT technological innovation/processes and researches the usage at Parker.
  • Understand business impact, create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.
  • Responsible for all applications (Engineering & Business) and long-term strategy for the division
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and successes of prioritized initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for all processes for systems to be compliant to SOX and CMMC and able to support audit activities.
  • Evaluate unplanned requests and determine appropriate priority and action.
  • Provide guidance to team members on personal development needs and opportunities.
  • Manage multiple priorities through effective organization and communication.
  • Overnight, long distance (including international) travel may be required, based on the individual needs of projects.
  • Available to provide after-hours and weekend technical support as needed.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of IT Experience
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or technology-related field of study
  • Managerial experience and significant Project Leader experience
  • Experience with Operations, Manufacturing and Quality Systems preferably in Aerospace
  • Demonstrated knowledge in database programming: SQL, PL/SQL, DB2, IMS
  • Proven experience with SAP MES, SAP ECC or similar
  • Demonstrated team leadership, including experience with direct reports and contractors.
  • Strong business analysis experience and skillset
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of Parker Lean tools and processes.
  • Strong consultative, advisory, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including presentation skills
  • Strong MS Visio skills
  • Understanding of ERP and integrations with business systems
  • Knowledge of project management standards, method, and techniques
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and processes
Preferred Skills
  • PMP, CBAP certifications
  • Experience with data reporting tools: Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Proficiency using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with MS Power BI, Data Flows, Data Marts, MS Power Automate
