Project Manager

A retail services company in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a Technical Project Manager to their team. In this role, the qualified professional will be responsible for managing multiple technical projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of technical projects from initiation to closure


• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders


• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure timely delivery


• Identify and allocate resources required for project execution


• Manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies


• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration


• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders regularly


• Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement


• Conduct business analysis and evaluate stakeholder requirements as needed


• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards


• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, managing complex technical projects from initiation to closure


• Experience managing retail related projects, such as provisioning POS solutions, digital menu boards, customer self-checkouts, time clocks and software enhancements or implementations


• Experience with business process improvement projects, Service level agreements, and IT support methodologies


• Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques


• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Proggio)


• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
