We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative SAS Viya Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and orchestration of the SAS Viya platform on a Zero Trust Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environment. This role demands deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.



ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end architecture and deployment of the SAS Viya platform on Google Cloud Platform with Zero Trust principles.Collaborate with solution architects to plan and execute technology refresh projects, ensuring scalability and maintainability.Enhance user experience through seamless URL management, analytics integration, localization, and component interoperability.Drive continuous improvement of the reusable SAS Dataset library.Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to support dynamic content across multiple products.Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in development and performance optimization.Align technical solutions with business goals by partnering with product owners and stakeholders.Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and Inner Source contributions.



Experience Required15+ years of overall IT experience.10+ years as a Java Full Stack Developer.5+ years as a SAS Administrator with hands-on SAS Viya experience.10+ years in core Java API development.5+ years of experience with Docker and OpenShift deployments.5+ years working with Google Cloud Platform Cloud Run.5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.



Experience PreferredC++: 2 years.NET Development: 1 yearLinux Administration: 3 years



Education RequiredBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.



Education PreferredMaster's Degree or relevant professional certifications.
