DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Wilmington, MA that is seeking a DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain full-stack applications using Azure services like App Services, Functions, APIM, ADF, Key Vault, and Azure SQL
* Design front-end solutions with frameworks such as React to ensure smooth user experiences
* Build scalable back-end systems using Python, C#, Java, or Node.js
* Apply modern development practices including CI/CD, Git workflows, and cloud security
* Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor to boost coding efficiency
* Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, integrated, enterprise-grade applications
* Lead technical discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
* Translate business needs into clear technical designs
* As a DevOps Engineer, you will solve complex problems under tight deadlines and stakeholder constraints
* Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards
* Stay current on cloud trends across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
* Understand how technology supports business goals like automation and cost savings
* Be aware of data privacy laws, zero-trust principles, and regulatory impacts
* Align solutions with business workflows and priorities
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Certifications in Azure development, architecture, and DevOps (AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400)
* Strong experience in full-stack development using Azure services
* Experience in enterprise-grade app delivery, cloud migration, and compliance
* Knowledgeable in cloud architecture, DevOps, and digital transformation
* Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot
* Skilled in React, Python, and other modern back-end languages
* Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams
* Proficient in CI/CD, Git workflows, and cloud security
* Able to lead technical decisions and translate business needs into solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
