Job Title: Freight Settlement Analyst

Location: Maplewood, MN (Onsite or Hybrid)
Type: W2 Contract (1-year)
Pay Rate: $26-$28/ hour (Depending on experience)

We re seeking a Freight Settlement Analyst to support transportation operations for a leading global manufacturing company. This role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely freight invoice processing, maintaining carrier relationships, and supporting key transportation metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrier Account Management: Process freight invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments in line with performance standards.

  • Transportation Metrics: Monitor key freight settlement metrics, identify and resolve EDI errors, and support daily error reporting.

  • BOL Desk Operations: Manage day-to-day communications and requests related to the Bill of Lading (BOL) desk.

  • SAP TM System Support: Leverage SAP TM to facilitate freight settlement and collaborate with internal teams on process improvements.

  • Monthly Accrual Support: Assist with monthly accrual preparation and account reconciliation for carrier accounts.

  • Conduct ad-hoc carrier meetings to address immediate issues and ensure smooth communication.

  • Compile and deliver detailed monthly reports to track operational performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP TM or similar transportation management systems.

  • Strong understanding of freight settlement processes and carrier account management.

  • Ability to analyze data, monitor metrics, and resolve EDI errors efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred).
