Job Description:
As an Operational Audit Manager, you will lead and execute audits focused on evaluating business processes, identifying risks, and recommending improvements. Your day will involve conducting risk assessments, mapping out operational workflows, and collaborating cross-functionally to gather and analyze data. You'll draft clear and concise audit reports, communicate key findings to executives, and present insights to stakeholders across various teams.
Utilizing your project management skills, you'll prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and take ownership of audit projects from planning to follow-up. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) is essential for reporting and communication. If you have experience with data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau, you'll use them to enhance insights.
Skillset / Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience with accounting, finance, audits
- Operational audit experience
- Risk analysis/ risk assessments
- Mapping out processes
- Communication across teams and giving updates
- Drafting reports
- Minimum education - Bachelors in related field
- Microsoft suite - Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams
- Must be a skilled communicator
- Concise and clear communication
- Experience communicating to higher management and executives
- Experience presenting information to different teams and stakeholders
- Project management experience
- Good time management, prioritization
- Must be willing to take ownership of projects and willing to jump in and assist as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data analytics (Power BI or Tableau)
- Big 4 job experience
