Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Job Description:

The selected Business Analyst will serve as a validation and quality assurance professional throughout the software testing lifecycle, supporting efforts to ensure robust and accurate testing processes across multiple phases of development.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a quality assurance specialist during all stages of the testing lifecycle

  • Develop, design, and deploy test scripts and test cases for complex system modules

  • Assist in setting up test environments and contribute to requirements documentation and test design

  • Prioritize tasks and collaborate with the technical team to address immediate testing issues

  • Contribute to long-term goals including test automation and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Provide regular updates and status reports to management and end users

  • Remain flexible and available to work after hours or on weekends for urgent project needs

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting testing projects including:

    • Test strategies aligned with business needs

    • Test plan/design development

    • Test scenarios and case preparation

    • Test execution

    • Defect tracking and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with JIRA Software or equivalent tools for test case management

  • Basic knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium

  • Understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies

  • Experience with reporting software tools

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline (preferred)

  • Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus
