Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support the development of key data products and capabilities that enable data-driven product decisions. In this role, you will be part of a Product Data Science team, working closely with cross-functional partners such as Product, Engineering, User Experience, and Analytics to deliver actionable insights that drive product strategy, customer experience, engagement, and adoption.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze product data and identify opportunities for product improvements, new features, and enhanced customer experience, engagement, and retention

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for product data strategy within assigned product areas

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, user researchers, and leadership to prioritize insights, analyses, and data initiatives that deliver measurable business impact

  • Define and implement product telemetry, establish key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear goals, and own recurring reporting on product usage and success

  • Partner with analytics and data engineering teams to automate data pipelines from multiple source systems into cloud data platforms

  • Design and build automated dashboards that integrate internal and external data sources, enabling self-service analytics for business users

  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and machine learning models in partnership with product teams

  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and present findings to senior stakeholders

  • Evangelize data-driven frameworks, models, and best practices across the organization

  • Act with urgency to identify and remove roadblocks while proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience)

  • 7+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or business analytics within a SaaS or cloud-based environment

  • Strong experience working with large, complex datasets and transforming them into actionable insights

  • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and validation

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

  • Solid foundation in statistics and analytical methodologies

  • Proven ability to solve real-world business problems using data

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience working with engineering teams to define and implement product telemetry

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum product development methodologies
