Description

Job Summary: Conduct experiments, test, and assemble prototypes to support product development and enhancement. Analyze data meticulously to provide valuable insights for refining and improving products.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follows all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provides advanced technical support to engineers and team members in research, development, testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Conducts complex tests, experiments, and validation procedures on equipment, systems, and components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the engineering team.
  • Utilizes advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring project progression.
  • Manages and maintains advanced technical equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory facilities, ensuring proper functioning and calibration to support engineering activities.
  • Prepares detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing test procedures, results, and conclusions for internal review.
  • Implements and maintains quality control procedures and standards throughout the engineering process, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and sharing technical expertise.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings in engineering operations, proposing and implementing solutions to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Champions a culture of safety in the workplace, promoting adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure the well-being of personnel and the integrity of equipment and facilities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to locate parts, diagrams, and drawings independently within the AAON database.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Two-years HVAC degree from a technical school. Minimum of 4-6 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry. EPA 608 and A2L certification required.

Education or experience beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development.
