Job Description


Deep, Significant Program/Project Management experience

  • Deep ServiceNow knowledge.
  • ServiceNow project implementation experience.
  • Amazing coordination, planning, exec presence, articulate type person.
  • Thick-skinned, can deal with stress, lots of people and priorities.

Responsibilities
Project Planning and Scope Management
  • Partner with Product Managers to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Translate product features and business requirements into a structured project plan.
  • Maintain alignment between engineering workstreams and business priorities.

Timeline and Milestone Tracking
  • Establish and manage schedules with clear milestones, sprint cycles (if Agile), and critical path dependencies.
  • Coordinate backlog refinement and sprint planning with engineering leads and Scrum Masters (if applicable).
  • Track progress against milestones and flag risks to timelines early.

Resource and Capacity Coordination
  • Ensure required engineering and QA resources are allocated and available.
  • Raise resourcing constraints to leadership if they impact delivery.

Risk and Issue Management
  • Identify and document project risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Drive mitigation plans, escalations, and decision-making forums when needed.

Status Reporting and Communication
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Leadership) on progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Facilitate stand-ups, weekly syncs, and delivery reviews.
  • Track action items and decisions from meetings.

Change Control
  • Manage scope changes through a formal process to avoid uncontrolled drift.
  • Re-baseline timelines and resourcing when priorities shift.

Quality and Acceptance Readiness
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) logistics and timelines.
  • Partner with QA and Product Managers to ensure feature readiness for launch.
  • Track defect resolution, release criteria, and go-live activities.

Post-Launch Support and Retrospectives
  • Ensure production transition steps (e.g., Knowledge updates, comms, hypercare) are completed.
  • Capture lessons learned and process improvements for future efforts.
