Information Technology (IT) Lead

Position Overview:
The IT Lead is responsible for providing the highest level of technical support to end users, ensuring optimal performance of systems, networks, and applications. This role involves resolving complex service requests escalated from lower tiers, performing in-depth analysis of existing systems, and developing proactive solutions for system improvements. The IT Lead will configure, maintain, and implement IT systems, applications, and networking infrastructures while delivering exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the senior escalation point for complex desktop, server, and network issues.
Provide onsite, remote, phone, and email technical support to end users.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and security.
Develop, configure, maintain, and implement IT systems, server applications, and networking environments.
Manage and support Microsoft SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and other enterprise applications.
Oversee hardware configuration, installation, and troubleshooting for both desktop and server environments.
Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and organizational IT security requirements.
Administer and support enterprise management systems such as Ivanti Management Suite, Microsoft SCCM, or Jamf Pro.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to lower-tier IT staff.
Maintain strong customer service standards in all interactions.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of IT experience, OR
AA/AS with 7+ years of IT experience.
Certifications:
IAT Level II Certification (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP).
CE/OS Certification.
PMI Certification (Project Management Institute).
Windows or Apple Certified Technician.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and related applications.
Advanced knowledge of computer and server hardware.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting and protocols.
Experience with enterprise tools such as Ivanti Management Suite, Microsoft SCCM, or Jamf Pro.
Soft Skills:

Strong professional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
