Role Description:

The Tech Advisor will assume a pivotal role in leading a significant project and involving the migration of data centers. This project focuses on migrating all applications to a new data center and cloud infrastructure. The Tech Advisor will be responsible for spearheading the project, orchestrating the seamless movement of assets, and devising a comprehensive strategy to ensure timely completion. Additionally, they will take charge of leading a team of architects for the target system, providing guidance and direction throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration project for data centers, specifically focusing on applications.
  • Coordinate the movement of assets and resources to the new data center and cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and implement a robust strategy to ensure the successful completion of the migration within the designated timeline.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of architects for the target system, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and address any challenges or concerns that may arise during the migration process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of the migration project, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary to ensure smooth execution.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Extensive experience in data center migration, systems engineering, and architecture (15+ years of experience overall).
  • Proficiency with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and solid data engineering experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)/Big Query.
  • Strong experience with Oracle database management and administration.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale migration projects in complex enterprise environments.
  • Healthcare experience(Payer/Provider)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience as a product owner, overseeing the development and delivery of software products or solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in data center management, cloud computing, or related areas.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
