We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Digital Product Creation program. This pivotal role is at the heart of our operations, supporting our internal product creation teams-including merchandising, design, and product development. You will be responsible for enhancing the digital suite of tools that manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to physical production and delivery to our consumers.
Specifically, you will drive the transformation of our Item Data, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Catalogue Experiences. These platforms are the backbone of our business, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our vendors on crucial aspects like costing, manufacturing specifications, and upholding our rigorous quality standards. Sitting at the core platforms of our business, you will be required to work across several business functions, navigate varying technical architectures, and work closely with other Product Managers across the Digital organization to achieve significant outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in building or delivering on Item Data, Product Information Management, and/or Catalogue solutions. Any experience in retail & apparel, and understanding of internal go-to-market or supply chain processes is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Ownership:
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Item Data and Catalogue platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise PLM and broader product creation goals. Motivate and inspire stakeholders, other Product Managers, and the technical team around the vision, championing these benefits throughout the company.
Data Governance & Definition:
- Define business use cases and processes that will help shape how we define item data domains, core entities, data attributes, definitions, and schemas that power automation and efficiencies for product creation, planning, manufacturing, and selling.
Data Lifecycle Management:
- Lead the discovery and documentation of data use cases, data authoring responsibilities, and data lifecycle rules (e.g., survivorship, priority, and versioning) across systems and teams.
- Serve as the product owner for item data governance, ensuring clarity around data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards across the organization.
Technical Modernization:
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to modernize our item data ecosystem and transition to scalable, service-oriented architectures.
- Navigate and influence an evolving technical landscape, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform resilience and flexibility.
Value Translation:
- Translate complex technical and data architecture concepts into clear priorities, product requirements, and roadmaps that deliver measurable business value and returns on investment.
- Champion the adoption of best practices in domain-driven design, data modeling, and metadata management to support evolving business needs.
Solution Co-Development & Vendor Management:
- Partner with engineering and design to co-develop potential solutions to user needs, exploring both the use of third-party offerings and internal development of capabilities.
- Understand the technical complexity of different product initiatives and the balance between quick wins versus platform longevity.
- Where third-party software is leveraged, effectively communicate and influence the vendor roadmap to prioritize enhancements or new capabilities, making difficult trade-offs between out-of-the-box functionality and customization based on business needs.
Product Development Lifecycle:
- Manage the full spectrum of the product development process, using prototypes and MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) to test assumptions and refine product directions based on real user engagement.
Data-Driven Prioritization:
- Manage a dynamic and evolving product backlog - prioritize new ideas, enhancement requests from users, competitive analysis, and engagement data for your product.
- Be able to synthesize multiple data sources to know what should, and even more importantly, what should not be prioritized.
Industry Expertise:
- Keep a pulse on the industry.
- Conduct competitive analysis, evaluate other retailers, and stay informed on the industry and evolving technologies in this space.
Analytical Leadership:
- Be able to collect and synthesize data to be data-informed and comfortable leading with your recommendations.
- Use experimentation to define hypotheses, run tests, and learn what works and does not work for our fans and our business.
Release Management & Communication:
- Support product releases through close partnerships with business and operations teams, understanding ways of working and effectively communicating changes to our business users.
- Your ability to provide clear, specific feedback and articulate reasoning will be key to cross-functional success.
Performance Measurement:
- Establish the right KPIs and analytics strategy to shape insights.
- Measure and monitor the success of KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
Organizational Leadership:
- Be a leader for our product organization.
- Help transform how we work by identifying new ways of working, implementing and championing those ideas, and mentoring other Product Managers to level up our organization.
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on internal tools, enterprise platforms, or data-intensive products.

- Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Information Management (PIM), Item Data Management, and Catalogue systems.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and managing a product backlog.
