Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of electrical and electronic systems for robotic platforms.
  • Architect and implement data acquisition systems to process high-speed sensor data.
  • Develop safe, efficient power distribution systems for industrial hardware.
  • Design electrical control boxes, cable harnesses, and enclosures (including thermal analysis).
  • Select and integrate components such as DAQs, power supplies, motor controllers, and sensors.
  • Work with advanced sensor technologies including load cells, accelerometers, and vision systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial safety and hardware standards.
  • Document specifications, designs, and test procedures clearly and thoroughly.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy full-system solutions.
Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • 7+ years of professional experience in robotics or automation (direct experience required).
  • Proven track record in designing data acquisition, sensing, and power distribution systems.
  • Strong background in control boxes, motion control applications, harnesses, and enclosures.
  • Familiarity with industrial sensor integration and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Software development for signal processing (Python, LabVIEW, or similar).
  • Knowledge of libraries like PyDAQmx, PyVISA, SciPy.
  • Comfort with Python scripting for rapid prototyping and evolving requirements.
The Offer
  • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
  • PTO and flexible time-off policies.
  • A collaborative startup environment solving complex problems in robotics.
  • High-ownership culture with room for technical leadership and career growth.
