As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and build web based dashboard application for metrics as needed
- Design and develop new test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Rest Assured
- Provision AWS resources like EC2, RDS, s3 using Terraform Infrastructure as code
- Provide comprehensive qTest product support and maintenance for internal users, including troubleshooting, user training, and maximize tool adoption and effectiveness
- Lead strategic evaluation sessions with external vendors to assess solutions, drive favorable outcomes, and manage feature request pipelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
- Enable interfaces between different systems to improve overall operation stability as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to be part in culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience serving as a senior engineer or technical lead, demonstrating proven ability to drive development team initiatives while maintaining strong individual contributor
- Atleast 2+ years of experience in full-stack software development, specifically using Java, spring based technologies
- Proven experience (7+ years ) in design and development of test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber & API's
- Strongs hands on experience in automating shadow DOM Host, Root, and Tree objects
- Experience in provisioning AWS services like EC2, RDS , s3 and enabling the connections as needed
- Experience in Tosca automation tool is an added advantage
- Proven record in anyone of the test managements tools like qTest/ALM (site admin role preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in java full stack development
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Expertise in architecting and implementing test automation frameworks using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
