Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, to join a leading cybersecurity organization specializing in risk, compliance, and cloud security. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be serving as the subject matter expert to help clients meet cybersecurity and compliance goals.

Responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer include:

• Act as a cloud subject matter expert, guiding clients through the design, architecture, and deployment of secure solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform using automation tools.
• Develop and implement security tools like Tenable, Trend Micro, and Microsoft Defender to enhance cloud infrastructure protection.
• Design secure, compliant cloud architectures using Infrastructure-as-Code for enterprise systems and networks.
• Collaborate with clients to shape cloud strategies, including architecture planning, roadmaps, and security assessments.
• Work closely with cloud providers and enterprises to align solutions with security goals and support digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, including architecture, deployment, and automation in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible for automating cloud infrastructure.
• Strong background in systems engineering, including requirements gathering, architecture design, and systems integration.
• Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms, serving in roles such as Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Engineer.
• Skilled in Agile team collaboration, contributing effectively within technical teams of three or more members.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear technical diagrams and written materials.
• Bachelor's degree in related Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer include:

• Salary: $115,000 - $125,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
