Description
We are looking for an innovative Process Engineering Manager to lead product development and process optimization efforts. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to managing uncertainty and driving impactful decisions. Responsibilities:
Lead product development initiatives by collaborating with R& D teams to launch new filled products, utilizing existing equipment or introducing new technologies.
Manage the transition of processes from lab-scale to full commercial production, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to define critical processing parameters, analyze data, and optimize processes for consistent quality and performance.
Mentor and guide a team of Process Engineers, fostering technical excellence and encouraging continuous innovation.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on process optimization, cost savings, and new product introductions.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including MoCRA and industry best practices, throughout the process scaling stages.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and statistical tools to improve process efficiency.
Drive the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process improvements with business goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or a related field).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in scaling processes from lab to full-scale production within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Expertise in process validation, compounding/filling operations, and familiarity with MoCRA requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of thermodynamics, mixing energy, and hands-on troubleshooting of process challenges.
Proven experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to use project management tools to coordinate initiatives effectively.
