RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Daytona Beach, FL that is seeking a Fabric Engineer.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fabric Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure and analytics solutions leveraging Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse (ADW), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Microsoft Fabric technology stack. This role is pivotal in building our modern data platform, including building data pipelines from Oracle ERP (and other data sources) to Fabric Power BI, partnering with Oracle back-end teams, analysts, and business stakeholders. Occasional travel once a Quarter may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, integrating with Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse (ADW), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Object Storage
* Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
* Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric environment including Data Flows and Data Pipelines
* Apply changes across Fabric's data layer, transformation layer, and visualization layer
* Implement and support medallion architecture for data modeling and governance
* Ensure data quality through robust data validation, testing, and monitoring practices
* Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, semantic models, and architecture
* Collaborate with Oracle back-end teams and support the data pipelines between Oracle ERP and Oracle ADW
* Work within a structured Dev, QA/Integration, and Production environment
* Participate in change management processes and ensure smooth deployment of data solutions
* Engage with analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate any technical challenges and offer solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in either data engineering, data architect or cloud infrastructure roles; Will consider a Senior BI Developer with 5+ years, must currently work in Fabric
* Strong proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT, and big data technologies
* Hands-on experience with semantic models, Power BI dashboards, and data marts using DAX, M Query, and Power Query
* Must have worked in either AWS, Snowflake, Big Query or Oracle
* Knowledge of medallion architecture and best practices for data layering
* Familiarity with change management and multi-environment deployment practices
* Monitoring & observability tools for data pipelines (e.g., Azure Monitor, Oracle Logging, Microsoft Fabric Capacity Metrics)
* Agile/DevOps Collaboration tools and practices (e.g., Jira, Git, Azure DevOps, Oracle DevOps)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
