Snowflake & dbt Tech Lead

We are seeking a Snowflake & dbt Tech Lead to lead the design and delivery of a modern cloud data platform. This role combines hands-on data engineering with technical leadership, guiding best practices in Snowflake, dbt, and analytics engineering while mentoring team members.

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.

• Lead the design and development of Snowflake-based data warehouses
• Architect and implement dbt models, tests, and documentation
• Own data modeling standards (Kimball / dimensional modeling)
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor data engineers
• Build and optimize ELT pipelines and transformations
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and business stakeholders
• Drive CI/CD, version control, and deployment standards
• Support Agile delivery, sprint planning, and technical decision-making
• 8+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
• Snowflake
• dbt (Core and/or Cloud)
• Advanced SQL
• Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Nice to Have
• Python for data engineering
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, etc.)
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Experience with data governance, security, and access control
• Prior experience in analytics engineering or platform modernization
