responsibilities:
What You Will Do
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive intelligence to identify emerging trends and support strategic planning for key practice groups and industry teams.
- Create detailed intelligence reports on clients, prospects, and market shifts to inform and guide business development efforts.
- Lead the charge on optimizing the firm's CRM and experience databases, developing systematic processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to prepare and coordinate compelling responses to RFPs, proposals, and presentations.
- Analyze pitch and proposal outcomes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop new, on-brand marketing collateral and produce high-impact submissions for key industry rankings and awards.
- Work directly with senior leaders and practice group heads to execute strategic business development initiatives and provide proactive recommendations for new opportunities.

Requirements (Must-Haves):
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, business development, or research/analytics role.
- Exceptional professional writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferences (Nice-to-Haves):
- Prior experience in a professional services environment (e.g., law firm, accounting, consulting).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Nexl) and experience databases.
- Experience with legal or business intelligence tools (e.g., Bloomberg Law, Dun & Bradstreet).
