About the Role:

Join a global engineering team at the forefront of medical diagnostic imaging innovation. We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge CT systems. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges through both new designs and the reengineering of existing systems.

You will work with advanced tools and methodologies to drive the success of both our new product initiatives (NPI) and the installed product base, collaborating with a fun and highly capable team of engineers. Every day is an opportunity to innovate and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design power electronics circuitry for premium CT hardware-across both new product introductions and maintenance of existing systems.

  • Lead and ensure operational excellence for assigned designs and projects, including:

    • Project reviews

    • Feasibility and cost-benefit analyses

    • Resource planning and project execution

  • Develop and test prototypes, perform performance evaluations, and produce thorough design documentation.

  • Create and capture electrical schematics using ECAD tools.

  • Review and approve PCB layouts generated in ECAD.

  • Innovate and optimize designs to meet performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability targets.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electrical engineering.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in power electronics design.

  • Proficiency in:

    • Standard schematic and electronics modeling practices

    • Product structuring and engineering analysis

    • Low and high-voltage DC and AC circuit design

    • Control systems, programming, and electronics simulation/testing

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.

  • Strong understanding of both analog and digital circuit/PCB design.

  • Familiarity with digital electronics components, switches, and related systems.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical materials clearly.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively across teams.
