Job Details

Title - EHS Specialist Coordinator Location - 100% on-site in Dallas, TX Length of assignment: 3 to 6 months

Hours - 7am to 4pm CST, Monday to Friday. Candidates need to be flexible with shift hours, as they many need to need to come early/stay later.

Summary: The EHS Specialist function utilizes the existing procedures and their acquired knowledge to provide EHS technical support to the Plant through coordination of EHS activities and programs. This role supports the implementation, execution, and maintenance of the environmental, health, and safety systems for the plant. As the Senior EHS Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the Corporate EHS team, Plant Management, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering team members and focus on various projects and initiatives within these teams. This position will provide support to EHS Specialists within the network. This position will report directly to the Director of EHS.

Under This Roof, We Require :
Bachelor s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred.
Certified Safety Professional, (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Industrial Hygienist, (CIH) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in workplace environmental, health and safety program management preferred.
Experience with Process Safety Management concepts like Management of Change preferred.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, policies, programs, PPE, environmental policies (EPA), safety engineering, accident/injury investigation procedures and operating rules, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer skills. (Google Suite) Excellent organization and time management skills, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours and business travel when needed
