Job Details

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Requirements-
  • Develop and modify complex software application programs supporting Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence initiatives;
  • Advocate, educate and partner with product development teams across the enterprise to develop and apply best practices regarding Machine Learning/AI-specific infrastructure technology stacks, application development, and proofs of concept (POC);
  • Create detailed specifications and conduct quality assurance reviews of peer's application programming;
  • Ensure quality of technology delivery of multiple vendors' technology solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs for an application family;
  • Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities associated with supporting the application area;
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for components of the team;
  • Provide technical guidance to projects/programs for complex components of multiple technology suites;
  • Develop standard practices, components, guidelines for use of complex technology components; and
  • Determine root cause of problems and drive resolution.
  • Work from home benefit available.
  • Up to 25% domestic travel required.

Qualifications-
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field;
  • 2 years of experience in a related occupation;
  • Experience writing custom SQL queries to support business requirements;
  • Experience developing and implementing machine learning models; Experience developing algorithms in R and Python in the healthcare or pharma domain;
  • Experience researching, proposing, and testing re-engineering and feature reduction and selection approaches for unsupervised machine learning;
  • Experience with requirements gathering and writing;
  • Experience with data visualization, storytelling, and manipulation; and
  • Experience using: Tableau, Java, SQL, and Shell Scripting.
