We are looking for a Calypso Back Office Support for our client in Montreal, QC
Job Title: Calypso Back Office Support

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets and financial products (FX, Swaps, Bonds, Cash, etc.).
  • Experience with back-office systems, including trade lifecycle, SWIFT messaging, accounting, and operational workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a financial services environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork.
Experience:
  • Hands-on experience monitoring production activities, including emails, batch alerts, tickets, and user queries.
  • Experience assessing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting issues.
  • Experience developing procedures for system and application maintenance.
Responsibilities:
  • Actively monitor production activities including emails, batch alerts, user queries, and tickets.
  • Troubleshoot, assess, test, and document issues.
  • Develop maintenance procedures to ensure performance and health of systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and create tactical and strategic workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate with Level 3 Development teams for incident escalations.
  • Provide after-hours support when necessary.
Should Have:
  • Ability to create effective solutions and support system deployments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with technical and business teams.
Skills:
  • Capital markets domain expertise.
  • Back-office systems and trade lifecycle knowledge.
  • SWIFT messaging.
  • Troubleshooting and system maintenance.

Qualification and Education:
  • Relevant experience in financial services, back-office operations, or system support.
Nice to Have:
  • 3+ years of Calypso Back Office Support experience.
  • Knowledge of Calypso asset classes.
  • Business/technical experience on Calypso projects.
  • Intermediate Java and SQL.
  • Experience with BMC Control-M (Automation & Job Scheduling).
