Project Engineer

Position: Project Engineer

Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Onsite)

From Petrochemical / Refinery industry

To be the primary interface for site based projects between Client site

Responsible to gather site information, field inputs & site clarification for smooth and seamless delivery of engineering.

Shall co-ordinate with Site stakeholders, local vendors, as needed.

Should be liaising with Client design lead for any emerging scenarios in the project

Responsible for planning and executing the work related to an assigned brownfield project scope. The assigned scope is determined and customized based on the project s work breakdown (contracting) structure, geographic distribution and general needs.

Typically assigned to the project commencing with FEED and continue through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up

Possibility to participate in early concept selection, project screening and development planning

Delegated Safety, Cost, Schedule, Quality, and Operability Stewardship responsibility for their assigned project scope. Contract ownership may also be delegated if appropriate

Responsible for stewarding contractor s performance, engaging/aligning key stakeholders, engaging discipline engineers and expert resources from the global experts, as required, to complete the assigned scope consistent with the project s objectives.
