We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps / OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer to join a large public sector project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps, Red Hat OpenShift, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline automation. This role demands a candidate who can work collaboratively, drive DevSecOps practices, and mentor team members to implement best practices across the board.
Responsibilities:
Lead DevSecOps efforts and mentor junior team members.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Build, deploy, and manage containers and images on OpenShift.
Create and manage YAML configuration files and custom Helm charts.
Integrate tools like SonarQube, Coverity, and Black Duck into ADO pipelines.
Configure and manage ELK stack for observability and logging.
Work collaboratively with application teams to ensure successful deployments.
Required Skills:
8+ years in Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, OpenShift v4, Docker, S2I, and ELK stack.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, KSH, and Python.
Experience with SonarQube, Black Duck, LDAP, SSL, and networking protocols.
Familiarity with WebSphere, NGINX, and Java application environments.
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
