About the Role

Trianz is looking for a DataOps Engineer with experience in managing end-to-end data workflows, including data ingestion, ELT pipelines, and reporting operations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless data delivery and operational efficiency across various systems, particularly within investment and capital markets domains.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL and a solid understanding of financial instruments including securities, mutual funds, ETFs, and the trade lifecycle. A background in data operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a high-volume, regulated environment is key to success in this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain data ingestion, ELT, and transformation pipelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data delivery to downstream systems and reporting platforms.
  • Monitor data jobs and troubleshoot operational issues related to batch and real-time processes.
  • Write and optimize PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and transformation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineering teams to meet delivery SLAs.
  • Apply domain knowledge to ensure accurate handling of financial data related to trades, securities, mutual funds, and ETFs.
  • Support data quality initiatives and implement controls to ensure data integrity across systems.

Required Education

Masters or Engineering degree

Required Experience

  • 12 plus years of experience in development and with 5+ plus of years of experience in financial instruments including securities, mutual funds, Investments and capital markets domain.
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Operations, Data Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL and data manipulation techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of investment management, capital markets, and the trade lifecycle. Understanding of how trade life cycle works, securities, Mutual Funds, ETFs
  • Experience with data ingestion frameworks, ELT pipelines, and reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with financial data structures and regulatory/reporting requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Work-shift Timings (If required)

  • 9 to 5 PM EST
