Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a contract with a client in McLean, VA. Candidates must have experience analyzing Business Requirement Specifications and ETL code, with strong SQL and Unix skills to be considered.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour

Senior Data Analyst job responsibilities include:
- Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across business units.
- Interpret Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and translate them into data models, queries, and reports.
- Develop and validate advanced SQL queries to support data analysis, migration, and reporting efforts.
- Create detailed data mapping and lineage documentation to support modernization and compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system dependencies and improve data workflows.
- Support ETL processes and data warehousing activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in data analysis, data warehousing, or related fields.
- Strong experience analyzing Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), ETL code, and writing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Unix and experience working with enterprise-scale systems and data environments.
