Job Details

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all .

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

Discover new yield issues in NAND Memory chip development and identify unique metric or combination of metrics, such as wafer/dice/tile shading, ECATS or other custom metric to identify new issue. Document yield issues and communicate to PI/Process/cell/Probe/PE/Design. Quantify issue hit hate, line impact and define issue start date. Quantify and publish yield related gap to goal. Quantify yield improvement/downside seen based on process/probe changes. Initiate data mining and correlation study on new issue seen. Initiate PFA request to identify root cause of yield issue. Perform inline correlation study to establish inline prediction to yield issue. Make yield projections based on expected improvement/downside. Conduct yield trend analysis, identify root causes in process step, conversion, algorithm change, and design, for yield shift. Perform cell die loss for MTX and NAND, conduct cell pareto review and communicate changes in yield. Work with PE/Probe to validate new program release. Identify gap with current test. Propose test or custom register to better capture new fail mode. Publish and present reports on analysis of process experiments. Perform yield analysis on fab/probe experiments. Analyze ESDA data to isolate fail location(s). Facilitate, coordinate and lead cross functional segmentation task force to build and validate yield fail model.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a YE NAND YA Engineer- related occupation.
