Title: Cloud Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud strategy, architecture best practices, and DevOps automation, with a proven ability to work across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architectures in Azure and AWS.
Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems to cloud platforms.
Collaborate with application architects and DevOps engineers to integrate cloud-native services and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools that meet the company s performance, cost, and compliance goals.
Develop and maintain cloud governance policies, cost management strategies, and compliance frameworks .
Create high- and low-level architectural documentation, diagrams, and deployment plans.
Act as a subject matter expert for cloud-related initiatives, mentoring engineers and interfacing with stakeholders.
Continuously monitor industry trends to ensure the company is leveraging best-in-class cloud technologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and at least 3+ years in a cloud architect role.
Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on both Azure and AWS.
Strong expertise with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC (AWS) and VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
Solid understanding of networking, identity & access management, and cloud security.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and monitoring/logging platforms.
Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-account/multi-subscription strategies.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of serverless computing, microservices architecture, and API management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
