RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Acton, MA.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, and modern software development practices. This role is critical to ensure our applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security services
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure Bicep
* Collaborate across teams to support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps methodologies
* Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and configuration management systems
* Architect and maintain highly available, resilient, and cost-optimized applications in the cloud
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience with SAFe and DevOps SDLC practices
* Proven experience with core Azure services: Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security
* Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform and Azure Bicep
* Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
* Familiarity with designing and managing cloud-native applications with a focus on high availability and cost optimization
Preferred Skills:
* Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
