Title: IT Vendor Management Analyst Professional Services

Location: Austin, TX 78753
Duration: 12 Months++ (Possible Extension)

Client is seeking an IT Vendor Management Analyst to support Professional Services for global impact. Minimal work direction needed. The role is seeking someone skilled and knowledgeable in contract interpretation and ability to make improvements to Professional Service Contract documents as needed, including SOWs, Amendments, etc. Researches and analyzes basic and complex data surrounding the involved processes and systems and is both capable and comfortable performing manual data entry into different tools, but especially Excel. Makes recommendations to improve process and is skilled at developing improvements into procedural documentation. Rely on substantial contractual experience and judgement to accomplish goals. Comfortable performing a variety of tasks where there are multiple and changing priorities.

Engages IT stakeholders in both developing new requirements and checking requirements for renewals to recommend any needed change.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and key internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for IT vendor-related issues and inquiries for Professional Services.
  • Facilitate regular and impact point meetings with key vendors for checking performance.

Contract Management:

  • Monitor contract renewals and manage the contract lifecycle.
  • Ability to comment on commercial content of contracts, with both drafting / re-drafting of agreements and SOWs as necessary.
  • Work to deliver concise requirements in support of delivering effective agreements.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT vendor services.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure IT vendors meet agreed commitments.
  • Address and resolve any performance issues or disputes with vendors.

Collaboration and Communications:

  • Work closely with all stakeholders, including IT, Legal, Finance and Procurement teams to collectively develop the best Professional Services agreements for the company.
  • Regularly communicate vendor performance and any issues to internal stakeholders.

Continuous improvement:

  • Once familiar with the Client Professional Services portfolio of agreements, make suggestions to re-draft agreements for improvement aligned to stakeholder (current) requirements.
  • Identify missed opportunities within agreements where performance targets in SLAs are not being met. Set an effort to both correct this and ensure contractual penalties are being paid by vendors.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within the IT Professional Services IT Category supporting Contract development and managing a library of contracts, including renewal handling.
  • Strong contract interpretation and drafting / re-drafting ability.
  • Experience supporting a portfolio of Renewal Contracts and scheduling renewals with internal stakeholders in advance of term expiration.
  • Strong understanding of the different categories and types of Professional Services Agreements including Managed Capacity, Fixed SOW, Managed Services, Staff Augmentation and Consulting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Prefer 5-7 years of experience in IT Vendor Management, with the listed skillsets herein.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and effort simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with Vendor Management software and contract lifecycle management tools, preferred.
  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Business Administration or a related field, preferred.
