Network Project manager

Carrolton, TX(Locals)

PM first, with some infrastructure experience overall

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including routing, switching, wireless, and security components across enterprise and data center environments.

Configure and troubleshoot advanced networking protocols and services such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, and multicast technologies.

Manage and optimize network performance using tools like NetFlow, SolarWinds, and application response time monitors; implement QoS, VLANs, ACLs, and Policy-Based Routing.

Ensure robust network security through device hardening, firewall configuration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint), IDS/IPS, SIEM integration, and vulnerability assessments.

Administer DNS/DHCP services using Infoblox and Bind platforms; maintain IPv4/IPv6 addressing schemes and traffic management.

Deploy and support HPE Aruba solutions including Mobility Controllers, Airwave, ClearPass, and Aruba Central; manage wireless networks and structured cabling systems.

Collaborate on SDN and SD-WAN implementations; support virtual networks and VPN configurations.

Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for network and equipment issues; document processes and maintain accurate technical records.

Lead network design initiatives, especially in Leaf & Spine architectures using Juniper, Arista, and QFx5120/5130 switches.

Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of network operations and security posture.

Advanced knowledge and experience with networking components. Eg. TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 LTM, GTM, SSH, VPNs, IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, etc.

Thorough understanding of modern service providers, TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: Ethernet, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, STP, RSTP, 802.1x.

Experience with Policy Based Routing, Quality of Service, netflow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, virtual networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Malware Prevention

Configure/troubleshoot QOS, VLANs, ACL, using troubleshooting tools like Netflow, Solarwinds, and various application response time monitoring tools

IPv4 and IPv6 experience is must and Strong understanding of network infrastructure, IP addressing, IP traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, Security and Network Monitoring tools

Technical troubleshooting & Implementation of changes in the complex network environment using Infoblox and Bind platform.

Knowledge, skills and experience with HPE Aruba routing, switching, and wireless hardware, software and protocols including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Instant Aps, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Central, Aruba Activate, Security, Aruba ClearPass

Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.

Working experience on HPE Aruba, 3com, H3C, Arista and Juniper switches, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls.

Experience in network design and network security including: Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection.

Strong experience of Working on Juniper and Arista Hardware switches

Experience of working in the data center network environment and Strong experience in Leaf & Spine architecture

Good experience in QFx5120/5130 series of switches
