Position: Sr. Workday HCM Techno-Functional Consultant
Experience required: 15+
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Workday HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) applications and integrations. This role requires a combination of functional expertise in Workday HCM and technical skills in system configuration, reporting, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday HCM Configuration and Implementation:
- Lead the configuration and implementation of Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Time and Absence, Recruiting, Learning, etc.
- Analyse business requirements, map them to Workday capabilities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Workday solutions are delivered efficiently and on time.
Functional Expertise and Consulting:
- Provide expert advice on best practices for Workday HCM processes and configurations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Assist clients in setting up HR business processes, workflows, and data structures within Workday HCM.
Technical Skills and Integration:
- Design, develop, and test Workday integrations with third-party systems such as payroll providers, benefits administrators, and other enterprise applications.
- Work with Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Workday Cloud Connect to configure integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, reports, and system performance.
Reporting and Data Management:
- Design and implement custom reports using Workday's Reporting and Analytics tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reports).
- Perform data migration activities to load and validate data into Workday.
- Monitor system data and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Testing and Training:
- Conduct system testing for functional and technical requirements (e.g., UAT, regression testing).
- Provide user training and support for HR teams and other end users on Workday functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and workflows.
Support and Maintenance:
- Provide post-implementation support to resolve issues, perform system updates, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with Workday releases and new features, ensuring the system is optimized and leveraging the latest capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Workday support team to address escalated issues and incidents.
Key Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience working with Workday HCM in a techno-functional role.
- Hands-on experience with various Workday modules such as Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, etc.
- Strong technical expertise with Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect) and reporting tools (Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reporting).
Skills:
- Deep understanding of HR business processes and Workday s capabilities to support them.
- Proficient in Workday configuration, security setup, and business process design.
- Experience with Workday security model, roles, and permissions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with Workday's implementation methodology and best practices.
