About Us:

A rapidly growing Film and Television Entertainment company with a diverse range of departments seeks an experienced System Administrator/Director of IT Management to join our team and provide comprehensive IT support tailored to the unique needs of our entertainment business. Internal departments include Corporate Accounting, Production Accounting, Development, Production, and Postproduction. Current staff of 60 full-time employees and the possibility of scaling upwards of 200 freelance employees.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across all departments.

Maintain, Manage, and Secure:

  1. Current IT infrastructure including Windows and Synology Servers, Windows and MacOS workstations, printers/copiers, MS Teams Yealink VOIP, conference room solutions, and networking equipment (Aruba, Extreme, Cisco)
  2. Internet Security solutions such as Firewall, Gateway Antimalware, and VPN Access
  3. Cloud storage solutions such as Dropbox, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  4. Office 365 Environment, Active Directory, and SSO/IdP (with MFA) to ensure smooth onboarding and off boarding of users with SSO providers.
  5. Windows based MDM and EDR solutions
  6. Department specific software needs such as DocuSign, Ariett PO, Concur, Sales Force, and Reception Guest Check-in solution.
  7. Office passkey and door security solution through Open Path
  8. Solar Winds Ticketing System

Collaborate with department heads to understand and address specific IT requirements and challenges within each department, facilitating communication with third party support and sales vendors when necessary.

Implement and enforce IT security protocols to protect sensitive data and intellectual property.

Assist in the planning and execution of technology projects and upgrades to support the company's growth and evolving needs.

Provide training and support to employees on IT supplies systems and software applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably within the entertainment industry.

Proficiency in a wide range of hardware and software systems commonly used in entertainment production and corporate environments.

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience with network troubleshooting.

Experience with server administration and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language.

Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.

Basic Web Page development skills are a plus.
