Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our support team, focusing on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing our ServiceNow platform. This role will involve troubleshooting, delivering enhancements, and optimizing core modules including ITSM, Workspaces, App Engine, CMDB, and ITAM (HAM/SAM). Candidates with IRM and On-Call Paging experience will be given preference.
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our support team, focusing on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing our ServiceNow platform. This role will involve troubleshooting, delivering enhancements, and optimizing core modules including ITSM, Workspaces, App Engine, CMDB, and ITAM (HAM/SAM). Key Responsibilities
- Support & Troubleshooting Identify, diagnose, and resolve platform issues to ensure stability across ITSM, Workspaces, App Engine, and integrations.
- Enhancement Delivery Work through a structured backlog (100+ requests), implementing scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
- Workspace Optimization Enhance and expand ServiceNow Workspaces for improved user experience and operational efficiency.
- CMDB & Asset Management Maintain and improve CMDB, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities for better compliance and visibility.
- Dashboard & Reporting Design and refine dashboards/reports to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Best Practices Partner with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow solutions with business needs, following platform and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong expertise in ITSM, App Engine, and Workspaces.
- Proven CMDB, HAM, and SAM implementation/optimization skills.
- Experience with IRM and On-Call Paging (preferred).
- Advanced scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Track record of bug fixing and troubleshooting in large-scale ServiceNow environments.
- Strong understanding of dashboards, reporting, and performance analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
