Job Details

Our client, a large professional services firm located in Hartford, CT, is looking to hire a Network Architect for a 12-month hybrid (3 days per week onsite) contract. The consultant will be supporting an entire network overhaul and modernization effort for a government client. The consultant will be working with Cisco-based technologies, supporting the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Cisco networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The team is focused on enhancing network performance and scalability, providing robust solutions for the business.
Required Skills:

  • Minimum of CCNP (preferably CCIE)
  • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Must have hands-on experience with OTV and VXLAN deployments within Cisco NX-OS and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) mode. This includes the conversion of OTV to VXLAN based topologies
  • Must be proficient in working with various routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and securing these protocols with IPSEC over public or non-private links.
  • Strong wireless experience designing and implementing robust wireless networks,both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Must have strong network security experience, developing and implementing advanced network security measures and successfully deploying on-prem and cloud-based firewall configurations
  • Strong cloud networking experience, designing and managing cloud networking solutions using Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
