Job Summary:
We are looking for a Full Stack Platform Engineer (FSPE) with strong hands-on experience in Java, Microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, integrating with modern cloud platforms, and delivering high-performance APIs and services. This role requires deep technical expertise across backend engineering, DevOps practices, and cloud-native application development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Microservices.
Develop APIs and RESTful web services to support front-end applications and other systems.
Work with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.) to deploy, monitor, and manage applications.
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Apply modern CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
Implement best practices for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
Use containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Required Skills:
6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL (optional).
Proficiency in AWS cloud services, with hands-on in deploying and managing cloud-native applications.
Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) is a plus.
Exposure to message queues like Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer/Architect Associate).
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IAC tools.
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Problem-solving mindset and ownership attitude.
