Job Details

ONSITE. Role is expected to be onsite 3 times a week. Please send in local candidates. *candidates who either live within a 50 mile drive or would be willing to relocate. Contract is 18 months.

Ideal candidate: flexible with overtime during the week when necessary. Rarely will they need to work over 12 hours in a day. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, biomedical, or bioengineering) or bioscience, or equivalent relevant experience in biomanufacturing. Hands-on lab experience, academic or professional, is strongly preferred, along with familiarity using testing equipment such as Instron force testers, CCI testers, or CT scanners. The role involves executing laboratory tests, supporting investigations, drafting protocols and reports, organizing test data, and contributing to process improvements. Strong technical writing skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset are essential. Candidates should be adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job Details:
Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for primary containers (vials, stoppers, and syringes) and medical devices.
Responsibilities include:
- Employing basic science and engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution
- Assisting with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessments
Skills:
- Previous lab experience
- Strong oral and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience in analysis of data generated from a variety of analytical techniques is preferred
