Sr Enterprise Reporting Architect

The Senior Enterprise Reporting Architect position is responsible for design, development, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise-wide BI and Reporting solution within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solution. The role requires establishing and maintaining partnerships with departments, as well as the technical skills to successfully implement an overall data visualization strategy, including developing integrations with databases, data lakes and warehouses. This position is also responsible for implementing the maintenance structure to ensure high levels of system availability, in-depth testing of reporting systems as well as continuous optimization of data processes and technology.

This position will be responsible for building and maintaining data models, dashboards and metrics that support the Operations team's efforts to create efficiencies and improvements in the enterprise reporting solution.

• Evaluates functional and technical business requirements; transforms those requirements into visualization solutions that enable the creation of data models, reports and dashboards to support strategic initiatives.
• Design and develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and data solutions utilizing SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker and other tools.
• Develop and maintain visualization objects, ensure proper security safeguards are in place to protect information, and monitor system performance to optimize usage of storage and compute resources.
• Create and maintain OLAP cubes to speed report run-times and delivery of key data to business users.
• Assists employees by answering questions related to data visualization processes, procedures and services.
• Develop and test complex SQL queries to support report creation.
• Manage multiple business objective driven projects, unearthing hidden patterns and trends within our vast data landscapes to identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase revenue, or improve customer service.
• Continuously improve and refine data models and schema layers to optimize reporting performance.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering or comparable field of study.
• 10+ years of direct experience in architecture, design, development, and implementation of data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with Cloud solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and data structures to find new opportunities, measure business effectiveness, drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to translate technical terminology into clear non-technical language.
• Experience with analyzing complex data to obtain insights that lead to business decisions that improve cost, revenue or quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while still achieving deadlines.
• Experience with tech stack: Python, SQL, and BI Tooling required; + Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Looker and Docker MicroStrategy, Tableau, Snowflake.
• Knowledge and proficiency with the overall EDW design and implementation aspects, including Change Data Capture (CDC), Extract Transform Load (ETL), Data Modeling, various Data Warehouse databases and Data Visualization.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems including SQL Server and MySQL.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
