About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Server & Cloud) to support a hybrid environment spanning on-prem data centers and Microsoft Azure. This is a Level 2 engineering role focused on daily operations, security remediation, and infrastructure reliability across Windows, Linux, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate brings strong fundamentals across Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, Azure, and PowerShell, and enjoys working as part of a globally distributed operations team. This is not a cloud-only or architecture-only role — hands-on execution is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Level 2 administration and support of Windows and Linux server environments
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016–2025) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • Support virtualization platforms including VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V
  • Operate Azure IaaS services (VMs, Backup, Site Recovery, Entra ID, RBAC, DNS)
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and Certificate Services
  • Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration hardening
  • Monitor systems using tools such as SCOM and Zabbix
  • Use SCCM and Ansible (Tower/AWX) for automation and configuration
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts
  • Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance
  • Support infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations, DR planning)
  • Maintain operational documentation and runbooks

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–7 years of experience in server or infrastructure engineering
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Linux administration
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Production experience supporting Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms
  • Familiarity with automation/configuration tools (Ansible preferred)
  • Background in process-driven, security-conscious environments
  • Comfortable supporting global systems and rotational coverage
  • Collaborative, low-ego, team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience in law firms, professional services, or regulated industries
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Experience supporting large, globally distributed environments

Why This Opportunity

  • High-visibility role supporting mission-critical infrastructure
  • Balanced exposure to on-prem and cloud technologies
  • Stable environment with clear expectations and strong operational discipline
  • Collaborative team culture with long-term investment in infrastructure
