Position Summary:

The Industrialization Engineer, Product Marking will be a team member of the Industrialization engineering organization. The organization works with cross functional development teams to define the strategy for manufacturing process flow, labelling, and packaging. The Industrialization Product Marking Engineer will drive improvement and standardization initiatives, develop product marking strategies and prototypes for new products.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Drive standardized process engineering and product marking development, change management and documentation

Lead product marking (locations of branding) strategy development on new product introductions, improvements in production time and efficiency.

Develop roadmaps for product marking technologies (automation equipment) to be utilized

Operate product marking equipment and develop prototypes as required

Support the documentation requirements for products and changes throughout product lifecycle

Direct the efforts of assigned drafters for all documentation requirements

Manage communication with business unit and factored product suppliers for all necessary changes and strategies during the development cycle

Support initiative projects to ensure all updates meet future requirements

Collaborate with product security teams developing strategy for digital authentication requirements or other security anti-counterfeit initiatives

Team with Industrial Design team to ensure product marking design updates supports product requirements, and marking strategy

Support product through lifecycle insuring proper execution and implementation of organization's philosophy

Identifies and manages process improvement initiatives and programs

Leads activities toward completion with the ability to communicate functionally to all stakeholders

Gain and maintain the support of stakeholders and decision makers required to achieve product marking decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science degree (or advanced) in engineering field of study degree in Industrial Eng., Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng. or other engineering field
• 2+ years of direct or closely related engineering experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean initiatives or process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and excel at persuading through presentations, discussions, and the documentation of technical information
• Ability to manage third-party relationships and interact with customers ideation and issue resolution
• Ability to work independently toward timely completion of a desired goal
• Adept at influencing others and collaborating across a large organization to drive change
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
