- Master's degree in computer science or in relevant field and 3 - 5 years of work experience
- Prefer prior work in tech industries
- SQL
- Experience in either programming languages such as Python and/or R, big data tools such as Hadoop, or data visualization tools such as Tableau

- Great Communications

Nice to Have Skills:

- Working XFN (cross functionally)
- Experience working with integrity or privacy related
- Political background - regulations, legal obligations, requirements or research experience
- Machine learning model would be great
- GEN AI privacy interest is also a plus

Additional Information About Role (This role might have exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content*):
70% of time diving into analytics insights and 30% Engineers to privacy program managers for privacy functions- working with data engineers reporting dashboards to get quick insights on how team is performing with key measurements. Will be looking at historical regulatory events to see what may arise. Privacy is a very special space- intercept between data and regulation. Cutting edge privacy impacts, risks of first party matrix, working with very interesting data set sourced by internal and external data and excited by ambiguous questions- super interesting. Strong ownership of the problems, taking initiative to communicate with stakeholders. Meeting rigors, being able to prioritize between needs, and insights should be actionable

Job Description:
The main function of the Data Scientist is to produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.

Job Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement.
Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.
Create measurement frameworks and metrics to evaluate product success.
Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.
Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, which includes, but limited to support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.

Skills:
Experienced in either programming languages such as Python and/or R, big data tools such as Hadoop, or data visualization tools such as Tableau.
The ability to communicate effectively in writing, including conveying complex information and promoting in-depth engagement on course topics.
Experience working with large datasets.

Education/Experience:
Master of Science degree in computer science or in a relevant field.
