SAP ABAP/BASIS Engineer Contract-to-Hire
Must be able to go onsite in Newnan GA every day.
Location: 100% Onsite, Monday Friday
Type: Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a technically adept SAP Technical & Functional Engineer with 2 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. This individual will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing core modules, including ABAP and BASIS to ensure system performance, stability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support across SAP ECC and S/4HANA modules, including MM, SD, PM, QM, and WM.
- Support data migration, configuration, and integration activities for ECC to S/4HANA upgrades or new implementations.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and test SAP modules to ensure alignment with defined business processes.
- Participate in all project phases, including testing cycles, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets across multiple SAP technical areas.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 4 years of SAP experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Strong functional knowledge in at least one core SAP module: MM, SD, PM, QM, or WM.
- Ability to perform basic ABAP debugging to trace technical issues.
- Foundational understanding of SAP Basis operations, including transports and user management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- SAP certifications in functional, ABAP, or Basis areas.
