Field Service Technician

Summary:

• The Field Service Technician provides on-site and remote technical support for Enterprise Imaging Radiology and Cardiology customers.
• This role is responsible for installing/moving, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing imaging hardware and software in healthcare settings, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Maintenance

- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Enterprise Imaging Radiology and Cardiology equipment.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using manufacturers' documentation and diagnostic tools.

- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.

Equipment Installation & Relocation

- Install, configure, and relocate medical imaging systems according to manufacturer specifications.

- Test newly installed equipment to ensure full functionality before handover.

- Document all installation activities for compliance and customer records.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to understand their technical needs and concerns.

- Provide guidance on equipment usage and recommend solutions to optimize performance.

- Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance trust and satisfaction.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including troubleshooting steps, parts used, and repairs performed.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, manufacturer standards, and company policies.

- Submit required service reports, expense logs, and part returns on time.
